Dan Zahal is the bassist for Häxon. At the age of four, Dan started taking piano lessons and was classically trained until age nine. After that, he played multiple other instruments such as saxophone and drums until he got his first bass for his fifteenth birthday. Dan joined the School of Rock just under a year later, where he met guitarist and fellow metal enthusiast Tyler Cantrell. He has been a member of Häxon since October 2018.

Dan uses a MIM Fender Jazz Bass and is currently building a custom bass. His biggest influences include Rush, Blue Öyster Cult, Mastodon, Tool, and Iron Maiden.
