Kim Oehme + Erin O'Callaghan
Entry Requirements: OVER 18s ONLY
Kim Oehme was raised climbing hills, dancing ceilidhs and watching the clouds cross over the foothills of the Cairngorms in the Northeast of Scotland. Now she is a part of the thriving music scene in Glasgow, where she currently calls home. Equal parts an accomplished guitar player, an intuitive yet wildly creative songwriter, she also has a voice that embodies both silkiness and grit. She moves her audience with honest and contemplative songs, inspired by the living folk tradition that crosses all borders, Kim Oehme creates a blend of traditional folk, Americana, Scottish folk and then some.
On Kim’s upcoming release, Into the Gloaming, she is joined by an all star lineup of Cahalen Morrison (Western Centuries), Michael McGoldrick (Capercaillie, Mark Knopfler), Laura Jane Wilkie, Charlie Stewart (Siobhan Miller), Tom Gibbs (Siobhan Miller), and Rachel Lightbody. A full suite of original music with influences from traditional Scottish folk, Americana and R&B. Ranging from deconstructed alt-folk to danceable country, and soaring Scottish ballads, Into the Gloaming covers a wide swath of the music of Kim’s life.
Album out March 25th 2026.
Support from Erin O'Callaghan. Edinburgh-based songwriter Erin O’Callaghan blends lyrical introspection and wordplay into gentle storytelling. Drawing on her Irish roots, folk tradition, and her soft vocals, her music leans into an intimate and confessional style.
