Join us to celebrate Choir 21 releasing their own version of Young at Heart by the Bluebells, featuring Ken McCluskey and Douglas MacIntyre from the band. Choir 21 is a Makaton signing choir made up of teenagers and adults with Down’s syndrome, run by Katy Lironi from Down’s Syndrome Scotland. All proceeds from ticket sales and sales of their limited-edition CD released by Last Night from Glasgow will go directly to Down’s Syndrome Scotland to help them continue their vital work supporting people Ds and their families living in Scotland.

The single is released on 21st March 2026 which is World Down’s Syndrome Day – the date 21/3 is WDSD each year as it denotes the triplication of chromosome 21 which causes Down’s syndrome. This year the theme of WDSD is Together against Loneliness. What better way to combat loneliness that through the therapeutic qualities of music and song? Until you have experienced a joyful Choir 21 performance you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Choir 21 will perform with Ken and Douglas from the Bluebells at 8-8.30pm. We will then have a celebratory disco, with our newly released Choir 21 CD single available to buy from our merch stall!
