Explore approaches to improvising. Pay what you can afford.

The workshop will look at strategies and approaches to group improvising. It will also be a chance to discuss, reflect and share ideas.

The approach of this workshop is informed by my work with music/ dance group Collective Endeavours and with many other improvising groups including the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra.

The workshop will start at 1pm prompt. Please be ready to play by then. Please eat before you arrive.

Once you have bought a ticket please email me the details of what instrument you will be playing and whether you will be bringing an amp or not. The Glad Cafe has amps we can use but depending on the make up of instrumentation some folks might have to bring one. I have increased the upper level of the workshop price again. This upper price is to support those attending who are on a low income. It is a solidarity price, some times described as 'paying forward'. For people who have a good salary. I hope it's clear that there is no pressure at all to pay more than you can afford!
