Welcome welcome to the Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy at The Glad Cafe!

Who's On?

We're delighted to bring back one of our very favourites, the woman who's nothing short of a comedy legend round these parts, the amazing Viv Gee! Just last year Viv was a Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Awards 2025 nominee and was awarded the Lord Provost’s 850 award for her contribution to Glasgow’s comedy community, richly deserved! You don't want to miss seeing Viv!

We're beyond delighted to welcome back comedy troubadour, the King of Keys, Chris Iskander and his magical piano, although it may just be electric or something. Chris is back at The Glad Cafe after too long away! Also back again is Canada's answer to the question 'Name someone who comes up first when he googles his own name', Cobin Millage! A regular on the Edinburgh circuit, Cobin will take you to unexpected places in unexpected ways, we expect. We round things out with not one, but two new-to-Crossmylaff acts, Glasgow circuit regular Fudgie McFadden and almost completely new Amalia Fuadi!

Your regular host is the maitre d' of comedy, Fergus Mitchell with tunes from Tom and Paul, aka house band The Isaac Haze!

Our shows are strictly 18+ and our venue is 100% accessible street to show! Line-ups may be subject to change.

Check out some of our five-star reviews for shows past...

"one of the best gigs in the UK..." - Scott Capurro

"Absolutely brilliant comedy night. Hip little venue with a good bar and café. The comedians were fab and so many of them. Headline act was fantastic. Can't wait to go again." - Suzy M

"Everything we anticipated- just great - excellent MC and wonderful contributions from all who contributed. What a night of frivolity. Anarchic and acceptably coarse." - Colin from Barrhead

"Great comedy, great venue, great bar people, great audience, great menu, great toilets, great snacks, great walkway, great signs, great beards, great teeth :)" - Del13

"I haven't laughed so much in ages..." - Daniel G

"Really fantastic night. Live entertainment of the highest" - Mairi W

"Fantastic night, loved it, I can't wait to come back" - Dolores W

"Woke lefty BS" - Simon G
