Shot Silk is an evening of chamber music that juxtaposes new and old to find connections, seeking new ways of listening to old music, and old ways of listening to new music. It takes its name from the weaving technique of combining differently coloured threads to produce fabric that preserves two distinct colours, shifting and shimmering between them depending on the angle and light.
