DIJA

DIJA is a multi disciplinary DJ & Visual Artist. Her ability to meander through genres mixed with her experimental approach to her craft has distinguished her as a staple part of the Glasgow club scene. Founder of TAQA and resident of La Cheetah, DIJA has long been an asset to her beloved home town. Known for high energy sets with a keen interest in all things drums, breaks, bass and everything in between. An impressive track of international radio mixes and a stealthy cv of club performances.

EYVE

EYVE’s music embodies her takes on Afro-futurism with a contemporary edge, creating a sonic identity that champions empowerment and self-expression. Nominated for 2024's Scottish Alternative Music Award & Youth Music ‘One to Watch in 2025', her message has resonated deeply with a diverse and growing audience, positioning her as a true "breath of fresh air" within Scotland’s landscape of music. It’s bold, innovative & coupled with a strong social message.

INTIBINT

Intibint is a producer, singer-songwriter, visual artist and DJ, born and raised between the UK and Yemen. Her music is primarily electronic, drawing inspiration from Yemeni sounds and exploring themes that straddle both the personal and the collective. Her DJ sets move intuitively between Arabic music, dancehall, rap, grime, and party anthems, curated specifically for the diaspora. Across sound, visuals, and performance, whether producing original music, curating a dancefloor, or through her work as the founder of @al.yamaniah, Intibint’s practice is rooted in resistance and reclamation.

RIA

Ria is an Edinburgh-based DJ bringing the warmth and rhythm of the Caribbean to a dancefloor near you. A longtime resident of queer collective Femmergy, Ria has spent years championing Soca and Dancehall across Edinburgh’s music scene; from sets at Sneaky Pete’s and The Bongo Club to festival stages. Her mixes are steeped in heritage and joy, whilst showing that the time for Soca isn’t only at carnival by mixing it with genres like Amapiano, Afro House, Baile Funk or an occasional cheeky, fun club edit featured in her sets.

As the host of her show ‘liming’ on ehfm, Ria curates sets that connect culture, rhythm, and community - a love letter to the Caribbean, its many genres and global pulse. Whether behind the decks or on the airwaves, her sound is a celebration of joy and collective release. She also really just wants to make you whine your waist!

MAVEEN

Ugandan-born, Glasgow-based DJ, radio host, curator, and promoter, Marvin Mateeka (MAVEEN) is a discerning selector at the thumping heart of the city’s nightlife scene. After arriving in Scotland as a refugee aged four, MAVEEN first fed his creativity and love for genre-defying music by making beats and mixes in his bedroom. His interest peaked on a return home to Uganda, where he fell in love with traditional folk music and Afrobeat, calling him to bring his influences home to co-found Shakara – a night that prides itself on a crowd as diverse and inclusive as its set lists. Since then, MAVEEN has gone on to support household names including Prosumer, Horse Meat Disco, RAW SILK, Maurice Fulton, TAAHLIAH, Jeremy Sylvester, Inkke, Sherelle, Yazzus, Interplanetary Criminal, Shy One, MINA, Tash LC, Juba, and Groove Armada. Meanwhile, his Shakara residency at Berkeley Suite has seen guest appearances from some of Glasgow’s most beloved party mainstays, including Wheelman, ButhoTheWarrior, VAJ.Power and Rebecca Vasmant, as well as a broad company of up-and-coming, local talent.

In his live sets, as well as in his regular appearances on Glasgow community radio stations, Radio Buena Vida and Clydebuilt Radio, MAVEEN loves to challenge his audience’s preconceived notions of what he might play, as much as he wants them to let go. Fuelled by the collective, he wants to take you on a journey where even he might not know the destination – but we’ll get there together.
