Scottish singer-songwriter Michael Cassidy returns with his first full-band show in nearly three years at Glasgow’s Glad Café on 20th December 2025.
Michael is a Glasgow-based singer/songwriter whose brand of folk-rock is characterised by his fragile, tender voice and his music is inspired by his own life and the changing world around him. Michael sites a great variety of influences including folk heavyweights Rufus Wainwright, Laura Marling and Richard Thompson. Michael has toured extensively including support slots with Ben Howard, John Grant, Martha Wainwright, Nathaniel Rateliff and Sam Fender. In 2012, Michael was awarded the Gerry Rafferty songwriting prize in for his track ‘The Men Who Stood Beside Me In The War’.
For fans of Stornoway, Laura Marling and Fleet Foxes.
This promises to be a special night so get down early.
