On December 11th we received a message from Scott & Greg to let us know our song was featured on their show "In The Middle" with Tea Boy Carl, from Chelmsford Community Radio, Essex, UK. That day I wake up earlier to listen to their show and it was awesome to catch these guys talk about music, Christmas Zombies and Indie Music, they played our song "Living Surface" while they thought we were a Mariachi Band, Carl surprised when he noticed we were from Mexico, they send us greetings while having a chat via Twitter, it was so nice to be part of their show! And we will be glad to be featured again! Thank Scott, Greg, Carl you're amazing!

El Martes 03 de Septiembre tomé mi guitarra y me fui a Monterrey, Nuevo León para participar en la Semifinal de Nuevo Talento Nuevo León, donde tuve una audición en el tan aclamado Café Iguana para participar en el Festival Internacional Santa Lucía, la gran sorpresa fue la presencia de los Jurados: Flip Tamez(Jumbo), Victoria Kühne y Pato Machete, quienes escucharon mi canción "Eyes On You" y me dieron sus comentarios sobre el trayecto de Runtolife, después de explicar la razón de mi participación como solista, recibí su orientación y apoyo así como su agradecimiento por representar a México en foros internacionales, sin duda agradezco a Violeta Berdón por apoyarme y animarme a participar, ya que gracias a ello, existe éste video y la experiencia se quedará en mi corazón para siempre...

Londres me dejó muy inspirado por la música y la cultura alternativa que hay en todas partes, tuve la oportunidad de tocar, perderme y caminar entre sus calles, encontrarme con amigos y lo mejor aún, beber una rica cerveza escuchando excelente música, pareciera un sueño que acabó en Hyde Park donde justamente terminé de escribir la canción "London Streets", la cual comencé a grabar inmediatamente cuando llegué a México, me comuniqué con Carlos Cortés(Guitarrista) para mostrarle el tema, a quien le agradó la idea y en conjunto producimos y llevamos a cabo su grabación, y seguidamente nos iluminó para reunir al grupo completo y volver a tocar, entonces buscamos a nuestro buen amigo y maestro Felipe Polanco, resulta que no habíamos tocado juntos desde 2014 cuando tuvimos una presentación en La Tasca un Miércoles de Noviembre, donde muchos amigos mostraron su apoyo por nuestra música, todo ésto regresó a nuestras mentes y fue el momento ideal para unir esfuerzos con Sebastián de la Vega(Tequila Radio) y Abyavin González(Asterix), entonces comenzamos un nuevo reto que nos llevó a una serie de presentaciones en nuestra ciudad capital Xalapa, Veracruz y la grabación de una sesión en vivo a través de RTV y Radical Sonidos Urbanos, por una parte tuvimos la oportunidad de ser escuchados en nuestra propia ciudad, ya que por años Runtolife fue un proyecto desapercibido, a pesar de continuar en formato solista, obtuvimos resultados diferentes cuando recibimos mensajes y retroalimentación de oyentes internacionales, lo que nos dio la confianza de continuar y simplemente tocar por pasión.

El 12 de Septiembre fue un día especial ya que Switchfoot regresó a México después de 9 años, para dar el penúltimo concierto de su gira de verano "The Native Tongue" y como un sueño hecho realidad, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Jon, Tim, Chad, Jerome y Drew, estrecharles la mano, y disfrutar de un Meet & Greet único que nos permitió estar en el soundcheck, donde tocaron muchas canciones favoritas que me llenaron de inspiración y alimentaron mi pasión por la música, la primera canción que tocaron fue "Learning To Breathe" y fue un momento tan significativo ya que éste tema ha sido parte de mi juventud y experiencia al conocer a mas gente que es inspirada por las letras de Jon Foreman, seguidamente nos tomamos una foto y les dediqué el disco "Can't Write Love Songs" agradeciendoles por hacer música para el mundo y mencionando que gran parte de mi inspiración para llevar a cabo la grabación de mi disco fueron ellos... Éste será un momento que nunca olvidaremos los fans mexicanos...

Al finalizar el concierto Jon salió a la calle solamente con su guitarra, para cantarle a sus fans, como parte de éste viaje, parte de su pasión de comunicar el amor que tiene por la vida y la música y de obsequiarnos el mensaje de servir a la gente, todo ésto se llevó a cabo el Jueves 12 de Septiembre en el Plaza Condesa, Ciudad de México.

A few years ago we launched our single "Jump Higher" It is a song I really love a lot, this single was made by two tiny pieces, one day I found myself walking around with just one guide: music in my mind, giving me the right details to continue with this journey, then I was looking an Idea, a photo, graphic and I found what the team of #GettyImages did with the Cover Art "Airport silhouettes people walking gate" it was amazing because I definitely found the whole Idea to complete the Cover Art... That represents us, people going on, inspired by music and airplanes, music and places, spreading sounds around the globe... The idea was completed in this tiny chapter.

Now the songs are Remastered and will take part of our new upcoming thitrd album "Jump Higher" & "London Streets"

Nexus Production Team have secured the first song for the In Corpore soundtrack - 'Flicker' by indie rock band Runtolife will be heard as part of Milana & Rosalie's story in Berlin.

I'm excited to let you know about 3 brand new tracks I produced and recorded by myself during March, this time I focused on a different direction, since my last travel to Berlin I wanted to explore different sounds. I've been working during the years in the line of Alternative Rock but suddenly I got inspired by people and friends from the music industry that reminds me about the teaching of Cornelius Ringe of the Audio Branding Academy to try on new sounds from nothing to electronic in many ways, that's the way I just started to meet musicians from Electro-Pop scene and definitely decided to create my own pieces by adding some lyrics in Spanish Language.

The big challenge was the way to blend my guitar stuff into new melodies, I would like to say it's like Tom Misch, Jens Kuross, Jordan Rakei, becuse these guys inspired me to go forward on my own way, however spent time discovering a lot of new proposals and artists from around the globe, but mostly from the UK, taking me to London, where I believe it's one of the cities where this kind of magic happens, a lot of new fresh tunes from musicians around the corner and that vibe definitely made me fell in love completely, at the end of everything I was surprised once again when I met Viole Berdón in a college friend's reunion, she's a professional folk dancer who sang a song a capella for us that night, and of course I wrote her and invite her to sing in one of my tunes called "En Todas Partes" an acoustic one, and It worked! Idefinitely a girl you should follow up in her new muisc journey. I believe this song was the perfect balance between natural and electronic sounds, being easy to catch feelings from nothing to music.

On my searching for a brand new art cover, I wanted to try something different also, for that reason I went to Getty Images and what we found was a Photo from a "Brave man sitting above the city with a smartphone" In the sunset, and those were the colors from the sky and clouds that reminds me about being in Europe walking around, making friends and playing gigs in different places, I called this tiny collection as " Caminando en todas partes todo el tiempo " because it is like being everywhere.

I'm very grateful and still Impressed about London, It's a different land, different weather, different Architecture that now I understand that it has it's own magic so far from Europe, this time I had the chance to attend to the #Amplify17 Event by the BBC Music Introducing at Excel, Centre, where I listened and discovered new artists and music but the most important was to meet in person Tom Robinson in his Industry Session where I learned a lot from his advises, an incredible journey to always remember.

At the night I took the subway to Westminster to walk around Central London, what a sighseeing! taking me to the Pub King William IV where I played for an Open Mic, then the next stop and most beautiful moment was to be part of the London Unplugged Sessions, In fact It was my official debut in UK as Solo Artist by having a Live recording... Imagine you are having a great day, a sunset moment through London Skies, also It is a nice weather too, then you stop and enter to The Crabtree, Fullham, there's a stage in front, who is playing tonight, so you get ready with a Beer on hand and then you just let start listening magic sounds, an acoustic guitar and soflty voice.. yes you are right now RUN TO LIFE, are you ready? please!
