Jon is a singer/songwriter from London.
With influences as diverse as Britpop, prog-rock, post-rock, indie and much more, Jon's music is the sound of a muse in a blender. As such it is stylistically diverse but it's held together by a keen ear for a tune, and wryly observational English lyrics.

Sophie and The Giants
Sophie and The Giants are a band that live and breathe music. Their individual musical endeavors began before they even hit their teens, gigging and playing with various bands until they all came together at university, after a few line-up changes and jam sessions.
Sophie and the Giants is the brain child of front woman Sophie Scott, who had an urge to play the songs she had written for years within a band setting. Guitarist Ciaran Walsh joined after the band released their debut single 'Lord Knows', a track that received local radio attention, and revels in a soulful indie dream. Not long after, bassist Bailey Stapledon and drummer Chris Hill brought in a grungier, meaner sound that had been previously unchartered by the band, leading this version of Sophie and The Giants to be the best it has ever been. Never faltering, Sophie and The Giants' dynamic has now grown tenfold, not that it needed to be improved in the first place.
The Guildford four piece are sonically, wise beyond their years. Each song they craft is a perfect concoction of everything that's wanted from music, whether you're a die hard fan or a casual listener. Their hooks reel you in and the lyrics hold your attention in their expressive and relatable nature, painting pictures in your mind. Vocals soar, riffs groove and guitar solos yearn; and they've so quickly mastered the art of having a sound that's nearly impossible to pin down to an exact point. They're poppy, but still retain an impressive uniqueness. When melody and soft touches creep in, they turn a sharp corner and surprise you with an unexpected heaviness. Sophie and The Giants are unpredictable, in no way that's chaotic. This is just the beginning for one of the most authentic and exciting up and coming bands that there has been for a while. You haven't heard anything like this before.
