Line Up

Four-piece London-based alt-rock outfit Minimum Wage offer a fresh take on the eclectic rock scene of the 2000s. Whilst the influence of bands like Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and countless others is firmly stamped on their music, the group are also heavily influenced by jazz, funk, pop and metal. What results from this quirky musical melting pot is a unique brand of rock with boundless energy, anthemic choruses and sensitive melodic grooves, all while remaining ferociously catchy.

2024 has seen the band reach the Semi-Finals of the Isle of Wight Festival: New Blood competition, release their first single as a band and complete their first UK tour which culminated in their biggest headline show to date at the Half Moon, Putney. With their debut album, Modern Misery, set for release in Autumn 2024, Minimum Wage are not to be slept on. They are making a lot of noise in the London music scene and it is becoming hard not to take notice.

Mike burst onto London’s indie scene after moving to the city in 2007 with Official Secrets Act, later evolving into CITIZENS!. Since then, he’s lent his signature touch to working with Shock Machine, Alpines, Sasami and FRANZ FERDINAND — moving effortlessly between drums, keys and musical direction.

EDISON is his latest project, fusing soulful melodies, rich harmonies and stories of the head and heart with the drive of Hitsville USA.

Frances is a London-based singer-songwriter who writes about personal experiences and life in the city.

Her music is shaped by a diverse background - from playing acoustic indie sets to singing jazz across London and the North East. Drawing on a childhood spent writing songs, she keeps her approach stripped-back and focused on observational storytelling.

Fresh from a recent performance at The Cuff in Herne Hill, she is looking forward to bringing her music and stories to the Half Moon Putney.

Hailing from South London and rooted in the quiet honesty of folk and the intimacy of bedroom songwriting, Alexandra Pulit crafts songs that feel both timeless and tenderly modern. Drawing inspiration from the raw, wistful sincerity of classic artists such as Nick Drake and Neil Young along with the introspective story telling of Searows, she brings back folk as it was once meant to be heard.
