ERROL LINTON

This award-winning Brixton born singer-songwriter has been described as 'the finest blues and reggae harmonica player in Europe'. Errol's 30 years on the London underground blues scene still finds him playing solo at Oxford Circus as well as appearing at major festivals and on European tour dates with his exceptional band.

His introspective soul and quiet countenance belies the mighty and passionate performer he is. Errol's latest album, 'Packing My Bags' with its unique fusion of blues styles; 'like Chess Records meets Studio One' has earned Errol much critical acclaim as well as reaching a wider international audience.

A constant presence on the capital's live circuit this great Londoner's shows are legendary, expect to dance!

Line Up

Errol Linton has been described as, 'The finest blues and reggae harmonica player in Europe'. His exceptional band, Adam Blake (Guitar), Petar Zivkovic (Piano), Lance Rose (Double Bass) and Kenrick Rowe (Drums) are one of the tightest blues acts playing in Europe today.

Errol's latest album, 'Live in London' was recorded in 2018 at The Hideaway, London and contains 12 tracks that capture the emotion and energy that you only get from a live performance, delivered by a blues band on the top of their game.

The album is due for release on vinyl and cd later this year but as a celebration of being nominated for the prodigious Jazz FM award: Blues Act of the Year (previous winners The Rolling Stones, Robert Cray, Gary Clark) Brassdog Records are releasing the album on a digital format as a FREE download until the end of April.

Indie Americana group, The Autumn Saints, have been signed by seminal music industry veteran, Nick Stewart, the man who signed The Long Ryders, U2 and Killing Joke. He also presented The Long Ryders with their AMA UK International Trailblazer award in 2022. The Autumn Saints’ new album (Wind Burn & Broken Oak) has been described as “The Band meets War on Drugs”.

Lead singer Britt Strickland brings the soulful, weighty music history of his home state of North Carolina to the UK. The southern storytelling tradition made famous by the likes of Dylan and Johnny Cash is very much alive in the Saints' music, with tales of hurricanes sweeping through the Appalachian Mountains and rural encounters at the lonely crossroads.

The British influence in the band, though, is also unmistakeable. The melodic, ethereal guitar lines that float and weave through the songs create the sort of atmospheric depth that British indie groups have always done so well. Both David Ireland (guitar) and Martin Gallagher (drums) bring their own musical influences to the sound, from the shuffling rhythms and counter-rhythms of groups like the Stone Roses to the twisting, choppy guitar licks of Wilko Johnson. Nick Bennett (Hammond Organ, rhythm guitar, harmonica, lapsteel and vocal harmonies) brings vivid roots flavour to the mix.
