Introducing Carley Varley, a fresh new Alternative Pop/Rock Artist from the South Coast who is fast becoming one of the most exciting breakthrough artists in the South today.

Carley is a versatile and talented singer-songwriter and musician. Previously a Pop Artist, Carley is currently exploring the Alternative genre, growing up listening to bands like Linkin Park, Paramore and The Pretty Reckless.

Carley has been songwriting and playing the guitar and piano since the age of fourteen. In 2016 she was spotted busking in the quaint seaside town of Lymington on the south coast and was soon catapulted onto the stages at The Ritz and The Waldorf in London. Carley and her guitar have been regulars on the Dorset and Hampshire music scene ever since. Carley has headlined Poole Harbour Festival as a solo female act in 2022, and has also performed at other notable festivals such as Wickham Festival, Upton Food Festival, FOODIES Festival, Dorset Seafood Festival, Dogstival, Vdub at the Hub, Volksfest and Dorchester Cider Festival.

Carley is a standout vocalist with crystal clear delivery. Her performances are joyful events where she brings her effervescent personality to the stage with songs that audiences delight in singing along too.

Carley released her first EP in 2019 called 'Captured Memories' with the three tracks ‘Won't Say Sorry’, ‘Honest Conflict’ and ‘Found’. Carley's next single 'Since You Left' was released in February 2020 and has had over 30,000 streams on Spotify.

Carley's 2021 and 2022 single releases ‘Fall’, ‘Going Under’ and 'Miss Me?' were featured on BBC Introducing. She was also interviewed by the BBC and performed 'Miss Me?' acoustically and chatted about her vlog 'CVLOG' which gives advice to upcoming musicians. Better Without Me, Carley's brand new single was also featured on BBC Introducing this autumn. Better Without Me was also number 2 on the top 25 uploaded tracks on the South Coast Music Show as part of Voice FM in December 2022. Carley's singles 'Somehow I'm Alive and 'I'm not angry anymore', and 'Envy' were featured on BBC Introducing in 2023.

Carley won a Venus Award for Musical Talent in 2018, she was also an ‘Open Mic' UK finalist in 2019.

“Carley is up there with the best. She has a stunning voice and combines this beautifully with her exceptionally good guitar skills.” - Rock Generation, Gig Review

“A talented singer who lights up the room with her voice.” - Tara, The Venus Awards

Carley is currently releasing her Homesick EP, which will be released throughout 2023.

Established in 2015, McDermott & North, distinguished indie/folk/rock singer-songwriters hailing from Brisbane, have swiftly garnered acclaim for their unparalleled musical prowess. Collaborating with esteemed artists such as Ben Lee and an accomplished ensemble featuring Joey Waronker (notable for collaborations with Beck, Roger Waters, and REM) and Roger Manning Jr (recognized for contributions to Glen Campbell, U2), their remote EP achieved critical acclaim and garnered substantial airplay on Triple J (Australia) and BBC Radio London. Recent singles 'Ally', 'Just Let Your Love Shine Down', and 'Pearly Whites' received widespread support from Triple J, National NZ Radio, and BBC Radio London. Rhys and Paddy, the creative force behind the duo, skillfully blend influences from 60s rock to contemporary folk and indie sounds, all wrapped in their distinctive harmonies. In 2023, their musical journey led them to a bold relocation to the UK, where they promptly made their mark with a major sub-headline performance at a 15,000-person festival.

IONA SKY are an Anglo-American indie pop-rock band based in Cambridgeshire, England. Formed in 2023, the group consists of lead vocalist Anna-Sophia Henry, vocalist/guitarist/keys James Malone, lead guitarist Simon Jupp, bassist Matt Worthington, and drummer Scott ‘the Dark Lord’ Wilson.

Their first official IONA SKY gig was as the opening act for an American Air Force July 4th gig with headliners X Ambassadors.

IONA SKY’s sound blends together the pop and country influences of Anna-Sophia, with the indie-rock songwriting influences of James and Simon. The combination produces traditional storytelling with an indie-pop sound based on catchy guitar riffs and dreamy melodies. In March 2024 they released their debut EP ’Homeschooled’. Their first single from the EP, ‘Never Be the Same Again’, was featured on international radio, including BBC Radio One. The band are currently on a UK/Ireland tour to promote ‘Homeschooled’ and playing in several UK festivals over the summer (Equinox, Strawberry Fair, St. Ives Music Festival) while still actively writing and recording your future favorite tunes.

Nathan O’Regan has a mastery over his voice that his peers surely envy. Slipping gracefully between gritty impassioned pleas and sweet longing melodies, Nathan pairs his beautiful singing with delicate, refined songwriting. A natural raconteur, his songs are full of melancholy and hopefulness that have captivated audiences all around Ireland. Like any artist worth their salt, Nathan has faced his own challenges. His voice and writing were spotted by Universal, who signed him at sixteen, recognising even at a young age Nathan's ability to write songs that would stop a listener in their tracks. He was paired with producer, Jimmy Hogarth and tasked to record an album. Halfway through the project, as is often the case, contact from the label grew cold and the work never saw the light of day. Universal’s mistake proved to be Ireland’s gain. Some artists capitulate after being dropped by a major label, but Nathan has gone from strength to strength, his talent impossible to ignore by anyone who has heard his songs or witnessed him lead his band like it was the last gig on Earth. A truly special talent.

With a debut album under his belt, Amir has been drawing audiences on the internet and live with his unique blend of Eastern melodies, rock, folk and blues. Amir has been featured on BBC Introducing and is a proud supporter of homeless charity Crisis, and the Red Cross, for whom he has written a single ‘Stone Eyes’. He has released three new singles over the last year fusing Eastern and Western guitar melodies and lyrics. In 2022 Amir was asked to perform in support of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads and Turn Up For Recovery charities. He has also been performing across Europe, and has just returned from the US where he performed at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
