Formed in 2015 - Acre Lane Brixton, Glue Men comprised of Alex Cutting and James Hutchins-Daniels. The duo, created electronically/drone/noise music juxtaposed with gritty scuzz guitars and bass, channelling the spirit of The Fall, PIL, David Bowie et al, which led them to create their first effort The Happy Grotesque LP. The album was a digital self-release and a humble number of CDs were given away or scattered across various vinyl and CD markets in south east London. Only a handful of intimate underground shows were played before the band looked to enlist a third member to the group. Raphael Nique, joined the band as drummer 2017.

Now a three the band worked to turn the songs from the album into a heavy live sound, with Alex on guitar and James moving to Baritone and bass guitar. The band worked solidly and recorded their only single together - Friday in the Danger House. Shortly after the release of the single Alex exited Glue Men due to relocation and visions of a better life.

2018 - Adam Rivers-Hope joined the band on lead guitar. initially working on the tracks that were from The Happy Grotesque LP they set to redefining the tracks, giving them a solid live approach; and from here the band developed their own songs, sound and style.

The band played a number of live shows and recorded the self-titled single - Glue Men.

Cara Hammond is an indie singer-songwriter from Wrexham, North Wales. Influenced by female artists such as Lianne La Havas and Lana Del Rey, Cara's music can be described as an eclectic mix of alt pop, indie folk and neo soul, which blend together through Cara's honest lyrics and warm vocal tones.

Cara began writing songs when she was 11, going on to self-release 3 EP’s independently and a series of singles through the indie label, Oswaldo. Cara's music has been featured on 7 Spotify New Music Friday’s across Asia, been A listed on national BBC Radio and featured in the BBC Introducing's Hotlist. During the pandemic Cara learnt how to produce, leading to her first self produced EP ‘twenty four hours’. The leading track ‘Losing Balance’ has since surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify, and has been performed live on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Scotland.

Cara's most recent EP release, Borderlines (released 3rd Nov 23), has gained amazing support from BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Scotland and Radio X, including an ‘Artist of the Week’ feature and adds to Spotify playlists Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Folk. Following this release, Cara completed her debut UK tour in November 23, selling out shows at Trouabdour, London and Tŷ Pawb, in her hometown of Wrexham. This whole project was done independently, without management, label or live agent.

Since supporting Charlotte Church at 15, Cara has performed at iconic venues The Roundhouse and Ronnie Scotts in London, as well as festivals SXSW, Boomtown, Love Supreme, Green Man, Rock Oyster, The Great Escape and Focus Wales. She is looking forward to performing at Focus Wales and In It together festival next Spring.

British born Anouska Assisi is an 19 year old award winning

singer - songwriter and guitarist whose music is a compelling hybrid of folk rhythms delivered with soul and lyrical authenticity. Musically literate from a young age Anouska has already amassed an impressive body of work and prior to the pandemic was wowing audiences with her live performances. She has a growing fan base internationally and is on the radar of A&R executives on both sides of the Atlantic.

Toby Pearce may just be one of the freshest, most intriguing singer-songwriters you will hear this year; evidenced by his debut single ‘Stupid’. A deceptively simple but straight-to-the-heart track, it is the kind of song that can only come from a life lived. Co-produced by John Reynolds (Sinead O’Connor, Damien Rice, Andrea Corr) who also performs on the track, ‘Stupid’ touches upon musical cornerstones of Pearce’s life, including a touch of brooding, West Coast sound, some of the only music his Father really had in the home growing up. Emerging as if doused in Americana, the forlorn tremolo of the opening guitars give way to a clarity and confessional chorus. “QUOTE FROM TOBY ON THE SONG ITSELF” At 51, for Pearce, it is the longest of long-awaited releases. It’s something everyone can relate to at some point in their lives; restlessness in their day-to-day. Pearce, working as a lawyer, always had an itch he couldn’t scratch, and ten years ago he entered therapy. This led him to this point – combining his internal musical world with all that was expected of him, and returning to something he should have followed as a teenager. Since then, he has dedicated ( sometimes sacrificing a life outside of work) himself to music, fully galvanised. The result is a collection of songs that offer real substance which will see light over the next year, and a message that it really is never too late.
