Line Up

Harry Hill is one of the most recognisable faces in the country and has created some of the most successful TV shows of the last two decades, collecting three BAFTAs, eight British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux along the way.

As creator and star of TV Burp (ITV1), Harry firmly established himself in the Saturday night, primetime television schedules fronting a staggering 11 series of the show over a 10-year period. The show scooped three BAFTA awards, four British Comedy Awards and the coveted Rose D’Or Award at the Montreux International Television Festival. Described by The Sunday Telegraph as “consistently one of the funniest shows on air,” Harry Hill’s TV Burp was Harry’s unique take on the week’s TV, featuring sketches, observational voiceovers and special guest appearances. The show, which The Guardian Guide raved was “one of the wittiest, sharpest shows on the box,” regularly topped 8 million viewers and led to four spin off ‘best of’ DVD releases as well as Harry’s hugely successful, Harry Hill's TV Burp Book (Ebury).

Most recently the show was nominated in two categories at the 2012 BAFTA Television Awards, the first for Best Entertainment Programme and the second for Best Entertainment Performance for Harry.

one of the most exciting, sharp, and intelligent stand-ups in the country.

On TV, he has appeared on Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, QI, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, Stewart Lee's The Alternative Comedy Experience and Russell Howard's Stand-up Central

He can be heard as the host of BBC Radio 4's Newsjack, and as one of Andy Zaltzman's co-hosts on The Bugle podcast.

‘If you like your comedy to be intelligent, inventive, thought-provoking and delivered with a passion, urgency and enthusiasm that makes an hour feel like a fantastic ten minutes, then you’re going to love Nish Kumar’s show… a truly impressive piece of stand-up from a comic in full control of his material and onstage persona’ ★★★★★ Time Out

“With his combination of book smarts, righteous passion and sardonic wit, Nish Kumar is the Asian answer to John Oliver” ★★★★ Chortle

‘A highly polished, subtly innovative stand-up…. He nails the punchlines over and over again, thanks to taut, economical writing that puts audience pleasure firmly ahead of self-indulgence…. His is a talent worth catching up with.’ Guardian
