Line Up

Hailing from the UK and Europe, with Ghanaian and Lebanese heritage, Ed Addo is a musician who brings a unique and diverse perspective to the world of music. His rich and dynamic sound, which blends elements of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, and R&B, is a reflection of his experimental curiosity for discovery and his deep understanding of the world. Ed's music is characterised by crisp, impactful lyrics and compositions that leave a lasting impression on listeners.

The band is currently made up of 7 members: Habiba Sesay (lead vocals), Pete Schunemann (lead guitar), Sheffield Farley-Moore (rhythm guitar and vocals), Joel Slidel (rhythm guitar), Temi Gordons (drums), Joe Fitzpatrick (keys and vocals), and Robbie Whyte (bass and vocals). The Grove are a group of friends/musicians from South London, making serious noise in the music scene with their grooving rhythms and punchy sound. They have evolved over the years, collaborating with a number of talented musicians and producers. However, now fronted by the beautiful and soulful vocals of Habiba Sesay, The Grove have really begun to settle into their own authentic and confident rhythm. They have a popular online presence, but the real charm comes from their riveting live performances. The setlist is a journey across rock, soul and jazz infused soundscapes, all tied together by an assured rhythm section. The fluidity of their journey to this point is reflected in their performance, as band members take on different roles, and tempo and vibe roll together in waves of groove and warmth. The constant presence of support at their shows is an indication of the following and excitement that they have begun to amass, and this seems to be growing with every gig. Having played shows at The Troubadour and The Amersham Arms, they are now set to play at the o2 Islington, and The Half Moon in Putney in early July.

A singer-songwriter and PhD candidate based in Los Angeles.

Inspired by artists like Maisie Peters, Taylor Swift and Ingrid Michaelson, Alayna has been writing songs to cope with depression and anxiety since her mom taught her guitar at 14

In November 2022, Alayna achieved her dream of performing at the Iconic Hotel Cafe DTLA, when becoming a finalist and runner up in the LA OPEN MIC competition, with her wonderful song ‘Glory Days’

During her recent visit to London (March 2023, to do her dissertation), Alayna achieved another milestone by performing at The Bedford in Balham and now is excitingly looking forward to performing at another iconic venue, that being The Halfmoon

Alayna’s music sounds like company for your misery, with sweet coffee and honest understanding.

Definitely one for your note books!

rish singer/songwriter aimée has been crafting her 'own unique stripped back sound', according to BBC Introducing. Taking influences from soul/jazz and mixing them with pop, she ‘showcases her vocals over lovey vibey beats’ (YEO magazine). As a multi-instrumentalist and emotive singer, she connects with audiences anywhere she plays.
