Line Up

Grand Central Television (or GCTV for short): an alternative psychedelic rock trio from the south coast/London

The Raven Chords are a four-piece band from south-west London, playing their own material characterised as alt rock with dark melodic undertones. The band’s line-up is:

Dan Heavey – lead guitar and vocals Jo Lambert – rhythm guitar and vocals Paul Connellan – bass and keyboards Simon Williams – drums

The band has played shows in London at The Islington 02, The Dublin Castle, The Underbelly, 93 Feet East, The Finborough Arms, Charlie Wright’s, Roadtrip & Workshop, Surya, and The Fighting Cocks amongst others.

They have been described as being ‘mournful Americana rocking boy/girl vocals with a Mark Lanegan via a grunged-up Giant Sand vibe’.

Matty Long is an indie folk artist from Putney, and veteran of the London touring scene.

Born in Enfield, raised in a quiet town in Hertfordshire, RuBe is a 19 year old singer songwriter. She began playing the piano as a child and writing music at 9 years old after the sudden passing of her Grandmother. It is then she discovered her love of story telling through music and used it as a therapy. Growing up with a brother with special needs RuBe feels passionate about difference and writing songs covering topics that people go through but find it difficult to talk about. RuBe is a passionate and empathetic songwriter who tells different perspectives through her music.

RuBe is supported by her local BBC Introducing show and was a ‘One to watch’ Artist twice in 2022. She has also made the top 10 of The Song Academy’s Young Songwriter competition 2023.

Her Debut single was said to be ‘’not only a worthy track, it’s also a stunningly realised debut that acts as an amazing introduction to RuBe. Even forgetting its core message, the track is a banging dance-pop extravaganza that highlights a musician with a powerful voice and a keen ear for what makes good music.’’

RuBe’s influences are Yebba, Clementine Douglas, Ellie Golding, London Grammar, Hybrid Minds and Birdy.
