Los Angeles born jazz/neo -soul singer-songwriter Chelsea Becker is influenced by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lizzy Mcalpine and many others.

She recently did her debut headline gig at the Harrison Kings Cross and is working on her debut EP ‘The Last Lines I’ll Write About You’.

Recently, Chelsea performed at SXSW, in Texas, as a backing vocalist in March 2023.

Chelsea is predominantly classically trained having studied at the Royal College of Music, as a scholar. She won BBC Young Composer of the Year twice receiving commissions from the BBC Singers and the BBC Concert Orchestra. Her orchestral piece was performed at the BBC Proms 2022.

‘The Last Lines I’ll Write About You’ is due for release December 2023.

Tigere is a London-born English-Nigerian-Irish artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and songwriter.

He creates music and sound from a wide range of styles and genres, combining a mixture of classical training and self-taught production techniques; from funky beats and chilled out grooves to energetic and introspective guitar driven songs. He explores topics ranging from the interpersonal to the political and their intersection, for example the relationship between the climate crisis and apathy. The core focus of his work, irrespective of genre and style, is a mix of live and electronic instrumentation and their interaction.

MY STORY SO FAR...

I STARTED PERFORMING WHEN I WAS 10 YEARS OLD. I DID MY FIRST EVER GIG AT THE CAVERN CLUB PERFORMING 2 ORIGINALS AND PLAYING GUITAR. I REGULARLY PLAYED THE CAVERN CLUB AS WELL – AT THE VERY WELL KNOWN SINGER SONGWRITER NIGHTS.

WHEN I WAS 12 I HAD A NO 1 HIT ON A NASHVILLE RADIO STATION WITH AN ORIGINAL SONG I WROTE CALLED STORYBOOK, THIS EVENT WAS COVERED BY A LOCAL LIVERPOOL NEWSPAPER. I WAS ON BBC NORTHWEST AND ITV NORTHWEST. THEY DID A STORY ON ME AND INTERVIEWED ME AT SCHOOL. THE STORY WAS BASED ON ME PERFORMING AROUND LIVERPOOL AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE.

I SANG AT THE EPSTEIN THEATRE AS PART OF A FUNDRAISER CALLED THE STATUE FOR EPPIE, SINGING A COVER OF ELEANOR RIGBY WHICH I ENJOYED PLAYING. IT BECAME ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS TO PERFORM, SO LATER IT WAS PUT DOWN AND RELEASED AS A SINGLE. I WAS AWARDED MY OWN BRICK ON THE MATTHEW STREET WALL OF FAME. I AM THE YOUNGEST PERSON TO HAVE A BRICK UP THERE AND I WILL ALWAYS FEEL TRULY HONOURED TO BE UP THERE ALONGSIDE SOME OF THE GREATS.

I PERFORMED LIVE ON BBC RADIO 4 IN LONDON WITH AN ORIGINAL SONG OF MINE WHEN I WAS 12. I WAS ON THE SHOW ALONGSIDE BEN FOLDS WHO IS A TALENTED AND CREDIBLE MUSICIAN.

WHEN I WAS 13 I WAS SIGNED TO A MANAGEMENT COMPANY CALLED OCTAGON BASED IN LOS ANGELES, THIS MEANT I WAS MAKING TRIPS TO LA FREQUENTLY TO RECORD. DURING THIS TIME I CO WROTE A SONG WITH THE BEACH BOYS AND RON DANTE ALSO SANG BACKING VOCALS ON A COVER I DID OF ELEANOR RIGBY.

ALSO, AT AGED 13, I SANG IN FRONT OF WORLD LEADERS REPRESENTING THE UK AT THE UNITED NATIONS – SINGING AN ORIGINAL SONG I WROTE CALLED STORYBOOK. IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET.

Singer / Songwriter from Beckenham, the sunniest side of South London. Crafting lo-fi acoustic pop sounds for the masses.
