Bessie Deakin is a London based singer-songwriter who is becoming a regular on the Half Moon stage!
She will be performing tracks from her debut EP 'Lady Red' as well as new material coming in 2023 under the title track 'Preacher in The Hallway'.
Bessie is inspired by Kate Bush, Patti Smith and modern day Maggie Rogers and Cat Power.
She will be accompanied by a full band for the evening supported by Will Purdue’s new band ‘Like Ribbons’.

Like Ribbons are an Alternative Rock band inspired by the likes of REM, The National, Drive-by Truckers and Band of Horses. The new project of singer songwriter Will Purdue, they prepare to release their debut EP Mother Nature in the first half of 2023.
