About

The Electric Church is a 200 capacity live music and arts venue based in the Northgate area of Blackburn Town Centre. The building has been an established live music venue for over a decade and our vision is to continue to host performances by emerging talent and become a stalwart independent venue of the UK music scene.

Aiming to attract established acts on the national touring circuit we have installed state of the art sound and lighting systems, as well as marketing, ticketing and promotion infrastructures.

Running alongside our annual programme aimed largely at over 18’s we will provide an environment in which young and new talent can experience their first professional gig, allowing under 18’s to safely experience live music.

Our bar provides artisan-bottled beers from around the world, local ales and a boutique selection of soft and alcoholic beverages.

The large multi-purpose space with first class facilities is available to host workshops, lectures, art installations and community projects.

All events are either 14+ or 18+. Please check the event listing you wish to attend for information.

Tickets

We issue E-Tickets to your email address through the Music Glue ticket vendor system. You will not receive a physical ticket in the post. Please bring a copy of the e-ticket with you to the show either printed or on a smartphone.

If you arrive without a copy we can still confirm your ticket purchase on our computer on the door when presented with relevant ID.
