Address: 79 Northgate Blackburn BB2 1AA
Blackburn town centre is host to a beautifully ridiculous set of one-way systems, which means there are several ways that you can drive to the venue. If you are driving you will most likely be coming from Barbara Castle Way so below are 3 different options:
Turn down Preston New Road and follow the one-way system around Richmond Terrace turning right at Museum St and again back up King William Street. You can also continue left onto Simmons Street.
Turn down Alma St and continue onto Blakey Moor, following the road round left (past King George’s Hall) and up onto Duke Street.
You can turn down Alma St and left up Simmons St but as this road turns into a one-way street in the opposite direction and doesn’t offer any parking spaces we don’t recommend this route.
There are plenty of parking spaces along the suggested routes on the map above. There are also 2 nearby car parks on Duke Street and Simmons Street. The main multi-storey car park for the town centre is Fielden Street Car Park which is just a short distance away.
Parking is only free after 6pm and on Sundays.
The nearest place to arrive by train is Blackburn train station which is just a short 10 minute walk away.
