Rob Manton (Guitar/Vocals), Matt Parry (Bass/Vocals), Ben Howarth-Lees (Drums)
"Hey Bulldog, another trio, hit the stage and immediately fire into an incendiary set. The Manchester three-piece are closer in spirit to stoner rock trendsetters Kyuss and Sleep, thick, heavy rock riffs underlaid with grooving, driving rhythm.
Guitarist Rob Manton is blessed with enough musical talent to actually justify his level of showmanship as he howls his way through the band’s material- the centrepiece being “No Future, Part II“, a hazy Krautrock odyssey utilising motorik beats courtesy of drummer Ben Howarth-Lees and hypnotic synthetic drones, which gradually build in intensity to a great wave of release.
New single “Al Lupo“, https://soundcloud.com/heybulldog/al-lupo
by contrast, is back to basics with it’s Sabbath-esque riffs, heavy with distortion and flanging, perfect for a blistering desert freeway- a temperature that the room was earnestly trying to match at this point.
Hey Bulldog are an outfit to watch out for, their stock is only going to rise in 2018."

"Proper anthem from a bunch of young local lads. Great work fellahs xxx" Manchester Legend Clint Boon on "Into The Sun" by Callow Youth
Callow Youth are a fresh, young independent “unsigned” 4-piece band from Tameside and Failsworth, Greater Manchester, the band formed as school mates 1 year ago in April 2017, at which point Connor hadn't played drums before. Aged 17-18 years and full of youthful energy and enthusiasm, Alfie (vocals/gtr), Tom (guitar), Nathan (bass) and Connor (drums) have recently burst onto the UK indie scene, having spent the year developing their songs. The band are quickly building a following through the self-release of their "Vibe Demo's" 3 track EP, recorded in Jan 18, original as their first demo session, which has led to local radio play and a word of mouth and social media buzz. Their first gigs have been very well received and the band are working hard getting in front of audiences and making their mark.
