I think we vastly underestimate the power of appreciating ourselves. Our society is fixated on the idea of fast living, dissatisfaction & disposing, spending money on so called self improvement or things we think will make us happy. Its easy to get caught up without taking time to look at who we are without it and what it really means to be alive in a primal sense. Rare is about self love, appreciation and acceptance, looking past the superficial BS, particularly in accepting and learning to love yourself when struggling with your mental health. If you’re suffering you 100% shouldn’t feel ashamed, and in those moments you need try to love yourself more than ever. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to each other - Lucy
