Happy New Year!

We may not have been around for the start of 2017 but it was a great year for us and a sign of good things to come.

Thank you to everyone who supported our events in 2017, and especially our festive events in December. The Christmas Fayre and Christmas Eve party were both successes - same time this year!

We're very proud to be an official venue for the 2018 Independent Venue Week. We have a very special show happening as part of the national campaign so make sure you don't miss out. Grab your tickets now!

A Tribute To Bob

On Sunday 17th September we had the great honour of hosting 'A Tribute To Bob'

Bob Armstrong was one of the UK's most respected drum teachers. He sadly passed away in June this year after a short spell of illness, but has left behind a legacy which will stand the test of time.

His roster includes many top professional drummers, including Steve White, Andy Gangadeen, Andrew Small, Ash Soan, Craig Blundell, Pete Riley and hundreds more! All of which have gone on to become major players on stage & screen.

Because of his ability to sight-read complicated drum parts he was in demand for West-End shows like Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Starlight Express, Mutiny, La Cage Aux Folles, and Singing In The Rain. His TV and studio work also boasts an impressive array of showbiz names including, Tom Jones, Cilla Blank, Roy Castle, Bruce Forsyth, The Three Degrees, The Four Tops, Elaine Page, David Essex, Morcambe & Wise, Roger Whittaker, Cannon & Ball, Victoria Wood, French & Saunders, and the list goes on.

He also found time to do Masterclasses for members of all the guards regiments and for drummers from the Royal Marines as well as those from his local Romford and Brentwood British Legions.

Steve White produced a star studded line up including guest appearances, with the afternoon being brought in by Mr Al Murray (The Pub Landlord) in association with PMT East London.
