Saturday night saw Ethan Hanna take to The Pavilion, Belfast stage to launch his long awaited debut album 'Welcome To The Batlands'. The show went down a blast with the packed out crowd all keen to show Ethan just how long we've been waiting to get these beautiful songs into our ears and onto our playlists. With a full band behind him for the launch show and backup vocals provided by the ever talented Sonja Sleator it was a whole new experience to see these intimate and heartfelt songs that we love so much take on an even more dynamic form with Ethans husky vocals pulling you in during the quiet moments and the band providing the swells and punches to match the emotional weight of this brilliant album. Supported by Sonja and John Andrews Music this was a lineup I can't wait to see again with some of the best lyric writers on our music scene all under one roof.
