White Heath are a progressive alt-pop band based in East London.
Formed in 2007 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the band have released several EPs and a widely acclaimed debut album released on Electric Honey records, working with a production team of Jim Sutherland (2015 BBC Scottish Composer of the Year) and Graeme Steel (2014 Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers). Since moving to London in the past year the band have added a drummer and increased their use of synthesisers and bass guitar to compliment their complex, multi-instrumental approach.
Their new split single ‘Ahnen’ / ‘Benign Pornography’ exhibits the effects of these changes on the band’s ever evolving sound. They were recorded live at Urchin Studios in London Fields, engineered by MPG Breakthrough Engineer of the Year 2014 Dan Cox and mastered by MPG Mastering Engineer of the Year 2013 Matt Colton.
White Heath have toured and gigged extensively over the years, playing successful shows at Oran Mor, The Borderline, Sebright Arms, Wickerman Festival and the Old Blue Last to name a few.
