Originally started as the bedroom project of frontman Asher Preston, VIRGIN KIDS were fully formed in late 2014 with the addition of childhood friend Paul Rosser and ex-Fawn Spots drummer Sean Hughes. They deliver frenetically energised rock‘n’roll that draws from sources such as post-punk and the ‘70s West Coast (think Gun Club / The Black Lips).

NME - "‘Virgin Kids could pass for a Black Lips highpoint, not least in their vocals which uncannily recall Atlanta’s finest. There’s also a healthy smattering of whatever grit drives Twin Peaks to such head-shakingly subversive levels of intensity, alongside the knowing nous of Coathangers more accessible material. Ultimately, their sound is fun because it is fun."

DIY - "London-based trio Virgin Kids share the same grime-under-fingernails, downright grubby mentality as fellow garage punks Thee Oh Sees and Hinds. But with new song ‘Cracks in a Colour’, they form a gnarly manifesto of their own."

Debut album out March 11th 2016 on Burger Records (US) and Fluffer Records (UK).
