Victors have announced the date for their first EP "Wish you were her" December 16th 2016.
“Wish you were her” is an exploration further into the pop/electronic genre, but more so with added layers and a progression to show their talents musically, whilst keeping with their pop/dance vibe guaranteed to lift you, they have also added tracks with deep, ambient and atmospheric sounds.
It follows on from the buoyant, bright debut ‘Tonight’ announcing the band’s forceful arrival onto the 2016 music scene, as well as “‘Two Hearts’ and “Feel” their biggest release to date, which has been premiered around the globe and attracting much attention.
The anticipated EP is the fourth official release since the band’s critically acclaimed debut single was released in early April. ‘Tonight’ was featured by a variety of publications and was also supported by respected industry aficionados including Huw Stephens via his BBC Radio 1 show and Charlie Ashcroft of Radio X who commented the track was “Absolutely stunning!” They also performed the track as part of YouTube’s Reload Sessions at their London headquarters.
Spotify is reaching huge audiences around the UK and America with 94k monthly listeners, climbing a staggering 2K a day. The two previous tracks are being played around the NFL stadiums during half time, as well as Topshop and Topman instore.
Victors have been on the radar of the likes of BBC Introducing for some time after making huge waves above last year out of their native Leeds. The band hold their own when faced with mammoth crowds after a variety of sell-out support slots including The Pierce Brothers at London’s O2, Manchester pride main stage alongside the likes of will young, Fleur East and Shura.
