Time Of The Mouth (TOTM) are a Worcester based pop-rock trio, formed at the beginning of 2010 by frontman and guitarist Chris Jones. Inspired by the likes of Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Bowling For Soup (amongst others) they released their first EP “Third Time Lucky” in May 2012. This EP included the fan favourite single “Tears” which proved to be so popular that it was played not only on local BBC Hereford and Worcester radio, but also in America, Australia and Japan. Their second EP “Snorkelling with Jesus” was released in 2014 with a sell out release party at Moochers Jailhouse, Stourbridge and again received a lot of radio play on BBC Hereford and Worcester, Birmingham Radio and Touch FM. Their stand alone single “Urgent Joe” released in 2013 was named the single of the week by BBC Hereford and Worcester.
TOTM released their single “Miss The Madness” in the summer of 2017 with a music video featuring popular actress Eleanor Ham, who has starred in popular BBC TV series’ “Doctors” “The 4 O’Clock Club” and theatre productions of “Les Miserables” and “Cinderella”. The boys shortly followed up the single with their latest EP entitled “What Would Dave Do?”.
2018 saw a busy period of gigs and a line up change towards the end of the year that welcomed new members Mitchul Tyler on bass and Ollie Badger on drums. The new line up released the single “Beautiful Storm” which marked the beginning of a new chapter for the band. The track was warmly received by fans who were relieved to know that TOTM were back stronger than ever.
TOTM are known for their very energetic live shows spreading their love for beefy punk-rock riffs paired with heartfelt lyrics of love and loss. Having played support shows with the likes of “Fort Hope” and American rockers “Microwave” they’ve toured up and down the UK in places that include: Birmingham in venues, like the O2 Academy, London, Bristol, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Sheffield, Cardiff, Blackpool, Worcester and Manchester amongst many others. They have also performed at summer festivals, including a headline slot on the Tower Stage at Drunken Monkey Festival.
The year 2019 is set to be saturated with shows and releases; a year that will most definitely put Time Of The Mouth on the ladder to success.
