Hailing from Brighton, Tigers and Flies are a 17 year old, three piece indie pop group. Originating from books of the Beat Generation read by lyricist Eddie Wigin; the old soul and indie records listened to, and cherished, by guitarist Arthur Arnold; the fire power of Arvin Johnson, attained by wrists made for only drumming and applying hair spray – Tigers and Flies have been writing and rehearsing in Eddie’s front room since October of last year.
In the first weekend September 2015, the group – one of Brighton’s less hedonist – played two gigs in Paris, and were met with a lot of praise once apologising for Brexit. Since then, the group have played a myriad of gigs across and around Brighton, as well as releasing an EP compromising of four songs written and crafted by the group. The track listing is as follows:
