The Nickajack Men are a four-piece band from Denny, who pitch there style between alternative-country and indie rock. The band features vocalist and guitarist Lewis White, guitarist and vocalist Michael Garner, bassist Jamie Burns and drummer Matthew McAlister. Drawing heavy influences from bands such as The Districts, The War on Drugs, Delta Spirit and The Alabama Shakes, the band started writing their own music while playing local shows and gaining valuable live experience.

They released their debut double-sided single at a sold out King Tut’s, Glasgow in July 2016 featuring self-penned tracks, A-side “Gordo” and B-side “Family Tree”. They went on to release their single “Hurricane” at a sold out show in Stereo, Glasgow in October 2016. Having recorded with Paul McNally of 45 A-Side Recordings in Glasgow at the beginning of 2017, the band have recently released their debut EP “Wasting Away” to rave reviews. The Revue magazine from Canada stated "You’ve been warned. This emerging band makes suc deliciously authentic Americana rock you’ll swear they’re from Tennessee or Kentucky – but no, The Nickajack Men hail from Scotland.

They have also received support from Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio and Radio KC and have received reviews from as far as Australia The ambitious young band, who were awarded 2015 Best Newcomers and 2016 Best Single and Best Alternative/Indie Band at the Alternative Music in Falkirk Awards, are looking forward to playing several more headline shows in the near future.

They have steadily gained a significant following, having recently supported The View, Louis Berry and The Districts. They headlined their fifth King Tuts Show for their EP Launch on 24th June 2017. Their musical influences have a huge impact on their live shows and their dynamic performances continue to impress loyal fans and new followers alike.
