The Nerks

The Nerks started in 2009 with Mopsy on bass/guitar, Dave on guitar/bass, Raggie on drums and Luke on vocals/guitar. After the first gig we decided that Mopsy and Dave swapping bass/guitar mid-set was not a good idea so Mopsy stuck to the bass and Dave to the guitar. We played a few gigs as a 4 piece and recorded 4 tracks at The Doghouse in Nottingham with Baz Barrett. Sometime in 2010 we suggested getting a frontman as Luke wasn't keen on singing. Everyone agreed and Taff was pulled in... A few years down the line, Taff leaves and Raggie is forced into retirement due tinnitus! Luke was also struggling to make gigs and rehearsals, Thankfully Deano and Mark stepped in to Sing and drum closely followed by Pete on guitar. Due to a slight change in style we got a new drummer called Moca and we have been that way for a while now and continue to make noise and good times - We have also now got another singer Kai who likes what we do and were all having a laugh while we do it :) The Nerks The Nerks
