In a disused garage in West London a group of friends got together and formed a band (or collective), jokingly calling themselves “The Ferocious Ladoos”. Seasons change, people moved on, members came and went, but a hard-core few (or those actually able to play a musical instrument) kept plugging away and jamming….years later The Ferocious Ladoos are back and this time they have something to shout.
A Ferocious Ladoo is a savagely fierce, small yellow ball shaped Indian sweet. Alternatively the musical trio Bops, Huck and Fais - the best kept secret in West London.
Musically, The Ferocious Ladoos take influences from a multitude of artists. Their haunting sound spans electronic, indie rock and Indian classical. They deliver a fresh sound in abundance which one does not tire from hearing, timeless and pleasurable, music intelligently blended with intertwined melodies, yet kept so simple and subtle.
