THE READY TO ROCKERS ARE BACK!!

READY TO ROCK SCHOOL return to the fabulous WEDGEWOOD ROOMS for their annual Christmas Charity Gig, with a full on 5 hour plus rock marathon, featuring ELEVEN young, teenage and adult student bands from their four rock schools, based in Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Portsmouth!!

Ready To Rock School founder, Mark Thompson-Smith B.E.M., leads the RTR School tutors and students for their final big rock marathon charity gig of the year, in aid of the excellent cancer support charity MAGGIE'S Southern region centre, based at University Hospital Southampton. https://www.maggies.org/our-centres/maggies-southampton

"We're back at The Wedge again where the team there enable our bands to get up on the legendary Wedge main stage to show family, friends and the curious public just what our students can do ...it really is the highlight of our performing year! It is also a great opportunity to raise funds through ticket sales and donations on the day for Maggie's team in Southampton.

The Maggie's centres offer a vast range of much valued practical advice and expertise, emotional support and social assistance for those affected with cancer and their families. With two of our adult students closely involved with Maggie's Southampton's fundraising activities, namely Paul Pope and Andy Burridge, the charity is a perfect match for this year's event and we are glad to help in our own small way."
