"The blend of Folk/Punk is the perfect high octane ending to a gig that got better and better..." NE:MM - 2016

"They simply nail it...mark them down as a real band to watch" Crack Magazine - 2016

O2 Academy 2017

Formed in 2013, The Pastures have progressed to being one of the top bands in the North East. With a loyal following, their live shows are highly energetic, entertaining and passionate.

Their songs are mainly about injustices and inequalities in today's society - with a Punk-Folk feel - and they have been likened to Dropkick Murphys, The Levellers, The Pouges, and even Iron Maiden. With airplay on BBC Radio Newcastle, Amazing Radio and NE1 FM, they have played stand-out venues such as The Cluny, 02 Academy, The Moorings Bar and Think Tank?, as well as a number of UK music festivals.

The Pastures have supported many touring bands including The Jar Family, Graveltones, Captain Hotknives, Space, China Shop Bull, Crazy Arm and Chainska Brassika and are recording new tracks in the near future.
