Delectable skewed fuzz-pop from Hitchin
Formed in 2009 through a love of 80’s and 90’s noise-pop, The Metatrons are
Polly - vocals and keyboards, Dez - Bass guitar, Steve – Drums and Simon - guitars and occasional backing vocals.
Our debut album “Between Planets” receives substantial radio play including, 6 Music, Punky Radio, BBC 3 Counties, Amazing Radio, Dandelion Radio and more.
We have played a number of very successful showcase gigs and festivals sharing bills with such bands as The Primitives, The Subways, Buzzcocks, Nick Lowe, Imelda May and many more. The band will play with Earl Slick (David Bowie, John Lennon) Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop) and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats) in August 2014.

We released a double A side single - "Please Mister / "Not Today" and two multi-camera video performances recorded with CGI on April 19th 2014. The initial 7 inch pressing sold out in one day. We were very pleased.
