The Fallen Leaves live in Hartlepool

Quarterlight is a fluid collective of musicians headed up by Gary Chaplin, founder member of Penetration, the renounced first generation punk band from the North East.
Chaplin is joined by Rich Dee (Punching Holes), Terry Knox (Urban Warriors) and Geoff Suggett (Kosmonaut), as well as special guest musicians at various points. Quarterlight specialise in creating singular sounds mixing the electronic, digital and analog worlds to produce beautiful and unexpected soundscapes and memorable tunes.
Quarterlight's debut EP (available via Bandcamp.com), includes a unique interpretation of the traditional song “Blackleg Miner”. Fusing the flavours of minimalism, with nods to Reich and Glass with lush strings reminiscent of Scott Walker circa Scott IV and melodic guitar lines. Coupled with the track “Flat Broke”, a contrasting piece, abrasive and jagged, this forms the collectives first formal release and serves as a taster for their debut album which is scheduled for autumn 2018 release.
Recent shows have seen the band develop their live presence into a mix of arresting visuals and magnetic performance.
