Steve Young + The Real Time Players' are a four piece Rock/Blues outfit that is best described as a band with head nodding grooves, filthy guitar riffs, hooky choruses, face melting guitar solos and a lot of good banter with the audience

Steve's 4th album 'Famous For A Day' is a welcome return to the style of music that inspired him as a teenager but with a great sense of the musical journey he’s been on for the last 30+ years. ‘Famous For A Day’ was released March 6th on CD & Vinyl and on all digital platforms on April 4th 2025

Early TV appearances with Lionel Richie & Peter Andre soon led to full time touring duties with world famous artists - most notably Savage Garden front man Darren Hayes which took Steve on trips around the world performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Brisbane QPAC, LA Roxy and many more concluding as co-writer on Darren's last album in 2012

In May 2024 Steve became the centre of a global news story as the world's first participant in a new mRNA Cancer Vaccine Trial. In 2019, inspired by the Paul McCartney film 'Kisses from Hollywood', Steve recorded a full live album with a 7pc band in front of a small audience at his local studio in Stevenage. The whole album was recorded and filmed in one day. Featuring stunning versions of My Son and Integrity the album has become a firm favourite with followers across the globe

During the pandemic, grounded along with the rest of the world, Steve began a 'Song A Day' project which, for 75 consecutive days, consisted of a regular lunchtime performance enjoyed by fans from Australia to Canada, Italy to Norway and numerous countries in between. This then developed into 'Steve's Sunday Service' which he still preforms to this day when gaps in his every growing gig schedule allow. Steve has just released his 4th studio album called 'Famous For A Day' to coincide with the end of his cancer treatment. The album & songs are very much part of the new lease of life and motivated by how he now feels.
