STATIC UNION are a four piece rock band from Glasgow’s South Side. The four teenagers came together in 2014 while all still at school and are now students. They have played extensively in and in around Glasgow including Stereo, Broadcast, St Luke's and The Arches. Their influences include The National, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Joy Division and early U2.
Debut single Turn Out The Lights was released online on 27 January 2017. The video has been shared hundreds of times and viewed over by over 10,000 people on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The single launch show at Glasgow's 250 capacity Audio sold-out in advance. The single was featured by GlasgowLive.co.uk, TenementTV.com, and other prominent blogs and has been selected by Vic Galloway for BBC Introducing on Radio Scotland and played by Jim Gellatly and Shell Zenner on Amazing Radio.
Second single Accelerator is released 17 March accompanied by an amazing video that is being premiered by The Skinny with tv and radio planned.
