Kathleen Douglas
Kathleen is a freelance director, originally from Australia, and this will be her very first time at Edinburgh Fringe! Having previously directed the two runs of Speaking in Tongues for Doughnut Productions at The Cockpit she is thrilled to be adapting the show for the Fringe and looks forward to soaking up all Edinburgh has to offer, scotch whisky in hand!
Previous directing credits include The Revolution will not be Grammatically Correct (Underexposed, Old Red Lion) after morning after (The Drayton Arms), It's All About the Holidays (Little Pieces of Gold, Old Red Lion), and Girl in a Crisis at Omnibus where she was the Resident Assistant Director, also assisting on the promenade production of Macbeth and Associate Directing Clapham Ghost Ride which had its audiences on bicycles.
Kathleen is about to start assistant directing the West End transfer of Judy! (formerly Through the Mill) at the Arts Theatre, May 16 - June 17. Other assisting credits include Peter Pan and the Designers of the Caribbean (The Bloomsbury Theatre) Boris Godunov (The Brockley Jack). She has a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Victorian College of the Arts.
