Sir & the Ivanoe

I was born in Italy, in January 1990, I play the piano since I was a little 7 years old child; at 15, I picked up my very first guitar and that was one of my musical turning points. so, what else....I grew up with Bruce Springsteen music and most of the traditional "stars & stripes" music... Perhaps as most of people on the planet did! but, f**k it...

In 2005 I founded, with three friends o'mine, the FAIL band (not properly the best band name ever, but, you know the name stands for Fabio-Alessandro-Ivanoe-Lorenzo, our own names) and we made an album and an EP; in 2009 the bass player was replaced by another more talented bass man and, due to his personal and precious support, our band became the "Beat Brains Out" band. Ours, was an alternative british-kind-of-band, in which we put all our music influences, more than we ever really did. But 2011 is the break-up year; each one of us took different ways, joined different bands or simply concentrated or focused on his own intrument...y'know, pauses are good sometimes.

So, there it is; that was the beginning of my solo career: new songs, new roads, new ideas, inspirations and horizons.

Now, I'm Sir & the Ivanoe... Which one of the two am I? Sometimes one, sometimes the other one...both or no one most of the time. It's just music, my music.
