A tall English musician and writer...with good hats... Simon is a tall, English musician and writer who has an enviable collection of admirable hats. He resides in the fair city of Norwich. Simon has been composing and playing music for longer than he cares to remember. Presently he is composing and performing as a solo artist and as a member of the band Skinnydog. Since 2016 he has been playing gigs in and around Norfolk and has recorded five albums as part of the 'One Month Album' project, which is a group of musicians who undertake the challenge of composing and recording an album of at least 10 songs or 35 minutes of music, all within one month. 'The Unbearable Brightness of Seeing' is comprised of 12 songs all written and recorded during the wind-strewn and snow-laden month of February 2018. It attempts to capture many moods of the time with themes of love, loss, the sea and the snow. His latest album ‘The Garden Studio’ was recorded in July 2018 and features an eclectic mix of songs from the reflective to the tongue-in-cheek. Simon Tall has been featured on BBC Introducing and is always looking to gig accompanied by his amazing ‘invisible orchestra’. Please get in touch if you wish to book him. All of his music is available for download and streaming on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and elsewhere. Just search ‘Simon Tall’.
