The band formed in late 2012 and started gigging around Inverness from May 2013. Silver Coast quickly caught the imagination local audiences. They played a series of gigs at Ironworks through the year including support slots for Fatherson and King Charles.
Silver Coast have a relentless desire to get noticed outside of their hometown, first in Scotland, then the rest of the UK.
Currently recording their debut EP the band have planned out their first release of 2014 to be single ‘Believe’ which was recorded in CaVa studios. ‘Believe’ will be released online for free download on Monday March 3rd.
Aaron, founding member of the band described their music:
“We play songs with aim of everyone relating to them in one way or another, whether it be good memories or bad ones. I want people to really feel our music, when I write a song I will only use it if I feel an emotional connection to it, and hopefully people listening will find a connection with it too.”
The band are influenced by the likes of Feeder, Fightstar, Silverstein, Twin Atlantic, Paramore and Angels & Airwaves.
