Shredd are a garage rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Their debut EP 'Every Time We Meet I Want To Die' propelled the band to the forefront of the Scottish music scene while follow up singles 'Cobra' and 'Flight of Stairs' cemented the band's position as one of the most exciting young bands in the UK.
With multiple sold out headline shows in their hometown, UK tours, major new music festival appearances - Meet The North (Newcastle), Stag & Dagger, Tenement Trail, BBC 6 Music Festival - and support slots with the likes of Black Lips, Catholic Action, Rascalton, The Van Ts and The Dunts Shredd have won over audiences with their heavy live sound. This all culminated in the band being awarded the prestigious 'Best Newcomer' award at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards 2017.
Their second EP 'Eat Your Enemy' was released at a sold out Glasgow show and has received rave revues from major publications such as The Skinny and Tenement TV as well as support from BBC DJ Vic Galloway. Described as a 'gallant and galvanic garage-punk goliath' by The Skinny and as 'hands down on the best Scottish EPs of the year' by Small Music Scene the EP is the bands most powerful release yet and has set them up for a huge next year.
