enter image description here Seventh Era originally started in 1979 with brothers Chris and Andy Lambert forming a band that wanted to play their own brand of Hard Rock. Inspired by bands such as Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Judas Priest, and AC/DC. The band played extensively all over the country throughout the 80's and even had interest from Germany and Holland. The band went though a few line up changes over the years but always consisted of the Lambert brothers. Around the early 90's the band split due to work and family commitments, however a few years later Chris and Andy decided they were not quite ready yet to hang up their guitars and formed a band by the name of UXB, fronted by Russell Hayes, who had since the early 80's been a roadie and close friend of the bands. UXB played extensively throughout the Midlands and even managed to record a 4 track EP. UXB eventually went their separate ways around 2000 due to managerial disputes. Fast forward to 2013, it was around this time that Chris unearthed an old cassette recording from 1981 that had some 15 tracks from the early Seventh Era days. An idea was formed to bring back Seventh Era and to again take Original Hard Rock music in a sea of imitation cover and tribute bands to the masses. Seventh Era went straight into the studio to write, learn, and play songs that quench a metal music thirst. Fast forward to 2016, Chris Lambert and Matt Maiden welcome the return of original guitarist Andy Lambert, along with returning vocalist Russ Hayes and new drummer Chris McMahon. Seventh Era are now reborn, and all members are gearing up to go at it all guns blazing, with a list of songs that capture realism, charisma, and above all else....Balls!! Welcome to the world of metal, welcome Seventh Era!!!
