British singer-songwriter Sadie Jemmett’s extraordinary songs reflect a remarkable life. Behind the entrancing, eloquence of her lyrics and the subtle acoustic beauty of her music lies a restlessly seeking spirit and a rich but frequently dark experience.

Back in July 2017 Sadie played one of her favourite London venues – The Green Note in London. It was a hot summer night and Sadie played an electrifying gig to a packed and appreciative audience, showcasing new songs from her next studio album as well as favourites from her last two albums, The Blacksmith’s Girl (2013) and London Love Songs (2015).

For those that missed her concert in July, Sadie recorded her set and will release These Days, Live at The Green Note with a very special return to the London venue on Wednesday 31 January 2018.

For the past 12 months Sadie has been busy in her home studio in Sussex writing material for her new album, as well as working on projects for theatre and film, including scoring the soundtrack for the award-winning short film Passing Over.

Sadie’s new album is to be produced at the end of the year by Joby Baker (The Bills, Cowboy Junkies, Miten / Deva Premal), one of the West Coast’s top producers in his much sought after Baker Studios in Victoria BC, Canada.

Since the release of London Love Songs, Sadie has been on tour performing her music to 300 people a night in France, Europe and the USA in a Nice National Theatre production of the play Shakespeare's Sister ou La Vie matérielle directed by Irina Brook.

As well as tracks from London Love Songs, Sadie featured songs from her debut album, The Blacksmith’s Girl, which was mixed and produced in Los Angeles by Grammy winner David Bianco (Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash), and mastered in London by Kevin Metcalfe (Queen/David Bowie/Robert Plant) and released to critical acclaim in 2011 on Judy Collins's label Wildflower Records.

Sadie Jemmett’s peripatetic journey has followed a jagged course from a wildly bohemian childhood through being a teenage runaway, a backing singer in a reggae band and a touring actress to her role today as one of the most magical new singer-songwriters to excite our ears in many years.

In 2018 she will continue her journey and enhance her reputation with a stunning new live album and a much-anticipated third studio album.
