New blues rockers, Nicol & the Dimes are a 3-piece band where the members have all enjoyed success in the past. Drummer Steve Nicol was the founder member of now legendary pub rockers Eddie and the Hot Rods, he toured the world, had 3 top forty hit singles and appeared on numerous tv shows, he went on to play alongside the late Johnny Thunders and has recorded alongside some of the biggest name producers. Guitarist & vocals Ian Nix played guitar for the late Desmond Decker Bass player Russ Strutter played with tonight, Wilko Johnson's Solid Senders, Eddie & the Hot Rods and Love Affair Debut album 'A Blacker Shade Of Blues' was recorded and produced by the Hot Rods guitarist and RodHot artist, Richard Holgarth, who also adds his keyboard talents to the project. Completing the line-up is celebrated Harp player Steve West Weston who has also worked with major acts including Roger Daltry and Mud Morganfield.
