RHYS DAVIS is a singer songwriter from Blackwood, South Wales.
Taking inspiration from a variety of artists and bands both old and new - ranging from The Police, Jeff Buckley & Beck to The 1975 and Ben Howard - Rhys has created his own unique sound that fans are growing to love. With strong hooks, spacious guitar tones and electric vocal harmonies, once you hear one track, you find yourself asking for more.
The brand new EP 'Chasing Light' has recently been released including the first single from the EP 'The Light' and it's accompanying music video. Next up are a number of shows around the UK in support of Chasing Light's release.
Rhys has attracted the attention of some well known names during his short music career so far - from supporting the magnificent Dan Reed at a local show on his UK tour at the end of 2016, to more recently being invited on to popular welsh TV channel 'Made In Cardiff TV' for an interview and unplugged performance.
Rhys was also recently approached for the opportunity to record a music video in London with Zak Muller from RnR studios - and gladly accepted. The video is now released and available to watch on both Facebook (@rhysdavismusic) and YouTube (RHYS DAVIS Official).
