Sometimes you hear a voice that just stops you in your steps. Such a voice belongs to Taylor Notcutt, who formed Pixie and The Gypsies in 2015.
"Taylor is one of the UK's exciting young jazz singers. She is a great story teller and sings from the heart while she mesmerises you with her sultry tone." - Trudy Kerr
Their album 'Honey Trap', released August 2018, topped the UK iTunes jazz charts, and is the band's first release of original music.
"Pixie and The Gypsies bring a real sense of romanticism to the stage. Something about their polished and passionate presentation is not just talented, but joyful." - London Jazz News
Following the release of their debut album, 2018 has seen the band perform sold-out shows at The Spice Of Life, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho and Upstairs @ Ronnie Scott's, as well as featuring at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival and the Cork Jazz Festival.
"The evening was brilliant from all aspects... the music was totally involving, presented and performed at a high level, to a full house. A definite highlight in this year's musical calendar!" - Paul Pace, Spice Of Life Jazz
'Honey Trap' is available now on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Music.
