2015 was an exciting year for Periscope View with the successful launch of their first EP; playing everywhere from shop windows to art galleries, radio stations to festivals; and Shuana Booker joining the band as a new backing vocalist.

Although it's been a busy year, Periscope View have been working hard behind the scenes creating their next body of work.

Guitarist Simon Hempenstall, "After recording the majority of our first EP at home and on a budget, we wanted our next release to better reflect our improved live sound."

Vocalist Helena King, "When we first looked around Hackney Road Studios we immediately felt at home and the opportunity to work with the very experienced and talented Steve Honest was something we just couldn't turn down.”

Crossing diverse styles and genres, the new EP Photographs showcases the band’s strong, unapologetic musical identity forged from the unique harmony between organic and processed sounds. The songwriting is the band’s strongest to date with production that allows the individual musicians’ talent to shine.

Periscope View kicked off 2016 by launching Photographs at the iconic Proud Camden, Wednesday 27th January.
